- Guatavita Lake is closed on Mondays. In the event of a public holiday on Monday, the lake will be closed on Tuesday.
- The estimated walking time in the reserve is approximately 2 hours.
- It is possible to be affected by the high altitude during your climb to Monserrate. We recommend that you slowly drink an infusion of coca leaf to counteract any effects due to the altitude. In addition, it is best to enjoy this experience after a day's stay in Bogota.
- The Salt Cathedral tour is not recommended for people with claustrophobia.
- The Guatavita Lake activity is not suitable for children in strollers and people with reduced mobility.
